December 5, 2016 – OneAction wins Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation’s Bourse de l’Engagement!
OneAction recently won the 2016 Bourse de l’Engagement of the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation for it’s project One Meal a Day! This award will cover the costs linked to the schoolchildren’s meals during 7 months, and will fund exams allowing 8 students to access higher education. Thank you to our loyal volunteer Panos, employee of the Lagardère group, who presented the project, and to the Foundation for its precious support!
October 20, 2016 – Support OneAction at the Escalade race
The next Escalade race will be held on Saturday, December 3rd 2016. This Geneva tradition has become an opportunity for OneAction and friends to meet up and support one of our projects. Come have fun with the rest of our team! This year, the money raised will contribute to funding One Meal a Day, a project that aims to daily offer a well-balanced meal to school children in our partner school in Bodh Gaya, India. May 6, 2016 – OneAction debates at the Impact Hub in Geneva
Last week, OneAction participated in a panel discussion organized by Shyft at the Impact Hub. After a screening of the documentary Poverty, Inc., panellists were invited to share their views on the many failures linked with the development aid sector, criticized in the film for being “a multibillion dollar poverty industry”. The discussions reinforced OneAction’s views according to which responsible, long-lasting help comes with self-sustainability.
March 2, 2016 – OneAction event at Café Voisins & I-Twins concert
