Support OneAction at the Course de l’Escalade 2016
The next Escalade race will be held on Saturday, December 3rd 2016. This Geneva tradition has become an opportunity for OneAction and friends to meet up and support one of our projects. Over the years we are glad to gather more and more participants.
Don’t run on your own!
Come have fun with the rest of our team!
This year, the money raised will contribute to funding One Meal a Day, a project that aims to daily offer a well-balanced meal to school children in our partner school in Bodh Gaya, India.
If you wish to encourage us, we invite you to sponsor our runners!
The project supported by the runners: One Meal a Day
Launched in 2012 in a school near Bodh Gaya, the project aims to fight against malnutrition, a common affliction in the area. OneAction is committed to provide one nutritious meal a day for the 300 school children. A dozen of younger children from the village, who lack the opportunity to receive a balanced diet at home, can also benefit from the food. Nothing is left to waste, since the water of the cooked rice and any last leftovers are used to feed the cattle. The project is in a transition phase until the launch of our self-financing project on site in 2016. Click here for more information.
The project in numbers
CHF 10 = 50 meals
Annual cost of the project = CHF 20,000
Objective for the race = CHF 4,000
